This will be news to some of you and old news to others: Effective Sept 22, 2023, TikTok (and any successor app from the same company) is prohibited on any network or device that has anything to do with government contracts. In order to comply with this, we will be blocking TikTok on all networks (WiFi or otherwise) for all our managed customers currently maintaining CMMC/NIST 800-171 compliance. This is optional for everyone else, but all of you know we are a BIG fan of blocking social media at customer workplaces – especially WiFi networks with access to your data.
