This month, I want to talk about one thing: Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance for everyone who does work for, or is a DoD (or DoE) contractor.

Within 4 years, everyone who this pertains to is going to have to be at CMMC Level 3. That means we (IT-X) will ALSO be compliant at the same level. All other customers, regardless of being a DoD contactor or not, will have CMMC Level 2 as their cybersecurity baseline. The good news is that everyone is at (or almost at) CMMC Level 2 already, because of our existing baseline, standards, and procedures. There will be more to come on this topic, but for now…
